Zuma Restaurants is a restaurant that has the concept of Japanese restaurant, in 2002 this restaurant was founded by chef Rainer Becker in London, with the concept of eating delicious food in the izakaya style, which is a number of dishes that are continuously served at the dining table.

Rainer Becker, a pioneer of the founding of this Japanese restaurant, developed the concept of Zuma Restaurant while working in Tokyo’s “Capital of Japan”, where he spent six years studying the ins and outs of Japanese food and culture.
In 2002, along with two colleagues Divia Lalvani and Arjun Waney, Rainer Becker launched Zuma restaurants first location in the Knightsbridge area of London.
After his success in opening this first restaurant, Becker decided to open several new branches including:
In 2007 Zuma London has been officially established, this restaurant was designed and conceptualized by Takashi Sugimoto.
Zuma Hong Kong is located in central’s new luxury mixed-used development area, The Landmark.
Zuma Istanbul was officially established in 2008 at the Radisson SAS Bosphorus Hotel.
In 2009 Zuma Restaurants Dubai Launched, which has a very strategic location, located in the International Financial Center of Dubai.
In 2010, Zuma was seen as more successful as the opening of his restaurant had already reached in the United States, the opening of this Japanese restaurant was officially established in Miami, and then after a success with the restaurant in Miami, four years later opened a new branch in New York USA.
Then after several restaurants are open in different countries, in March 2016, Zuma officially opened his 10th restaurant in Rome, located on the fourth and fifth floors of Palazzo Fendi.
In late 2016, a branch opened at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
