Hiring Full Time Straight Truck Driver

Job Description

Located 12643 67A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 1G3 Atar Transport Ltd. is looking urgently to transport goods and materials all over Canada. Long Haul Truck Drivers (06 Vacancies)

Duties: Operate and drive long combination vehicles tractor-trailer to transport materials to destination and weighing over 4600 kg.
Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment and loading & unloading and safety and security of cargo.
Communication with dispatchers and concern other staff, perform pre-trip inspection on truck and trailer before start of journey, Record cargo information such as distance traveled and fuel consumption and other information in log book etc.

Wage’s rate is $25/hr + 4% vacation pay.
Jobs are full time and permanent.
Minimum hours: 50 Hrs. per week.
Education not required.
Language-Functional English but Punjabi as asset.
Must have Class-1 or equivalent driving license OR Should qualify to get class-1 license.
On-the-job training, will be provided.
