Emirates National Facilities Management is currently seeking a Plumber to join its dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of plumbing systems within various facilities. The individual in this position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Key responsibilities include diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs to prevent or address leaks, unclogging pipes and drains, and ensuring that all installations and repairs meet the required standards and codes. The Plumber will also be expected to prepare estimates and keep accurate records of materials used and hours worked.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by technical training in plumbing. A valid plumbing license is highly desirable. Applicants should have at least two years of experience in plumbing, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Essential skills include strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment is also required.
