Part of your job will involve operating high loader equipment next to the aircraft, following the SOPs and procedures to ensure safe and smooth operations during the loading and unloading process. Prior to commencing your trips, you’ll perform a thorough pre-trip inspection of your vehicle and report any mechanical issues that might disrupt the loading and offloading activities.

You’ll also be responsible for pre-cooling the vehicle chiller and securing cargo belts to prevent any damage to the catering and equipment. Your commitment to safe driving practices will help you adhere to the U.A.E. road traffic rules and Dubai International Airport ramp safety regulations at all times.

Essential Requirements and Competencies

3. Language Proficiency: You should be well-versed in written and spoken English and have strong attention to detail.
4. Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge: You should have basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance, including checking oil and water levels and tire pressure.
5. First Aid, Safety, and Basic Firefighting Skills: While not compulsory, these skills are preferred.
6. Driving License: Holding a driving license number 4 is also preferred.
7. Ability to Operate a Loaded Vehicle: You should be capable of safely and efficiently operating a loaded vehicle.
8. Security Clearance: You must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Security Pass.
9. Physical Fitness: Be prepared for manual handling tasks, such as bending, kneeling, and stooping, as well as using a ladder.
10. Teamwork: You should be able to work independently or as part of a team.
11. Flexibility: Be willing to work in shifts.
