ANSWER Scholarship Endowment provides financial support and provides motivation to adult women aged 25 years and over who have school children (Pre-Kindergarten class -12)
and wish to have a four-year bachelor’s degree in their chosen field
(the minimum scholarship award amounts to $ 4,000), including:

A nursing degree for 2 years (minimum award amount $ 2,000),
Or a two-year degree in the CPCC Health Careers Program: (minimum award of $ 2,000).
ANSWER scholarship applicants must be :
Women who were at least 25 years old or over at the time of the registration session.
Applicants may be married or single. Must be the primary caregiver for at least one school age child (enrolled in the Pre-Kindergarten class – 12).
This includes any natural child born legally or children to whom legal guardianship has been granted.
Children must stay at home with the applicant.
Applicants must be US citizens, including foreign-born US citizens, and legal residents of one of the following countries:
Mecklenburg,
Cabarrus,
Gaston,
Iredell,
Lincoln,
Stanly or

Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) is to provide additional financial assistance to single parents living in Arkansas who are taking courses that will increase their earning potential.
Guidance on how the scholarship can be used depends on the policy of each scholarship provider.
