Then development also includes the contract with NShama, introducing the Carrefour across the country, retail business school, and spreading its hyper and supermarket business.
In 2019, MAF has more than 120 supermarkets and 90 hypermarkets in 15 countries. It also launched the largest regional distribution center in Dubai with an investment of over US$80. For these business subsidiaries, MAF mainly focuses on three different retail products. They are fashion, partnership, and online shopping.

Properties Business

The properties business under the name of Majid al Futtaim group focus in management, owning and developing projects. Most of the properties themselves circling the MENA region. In these subsidiaries, MAF focuses on shopping malls and communities. The history of its development started far ago in 2015. It comes with up and down, as the profit goes down 7% in 2016.

Ventures Business

The venture business focuses on the development and producing amenities. In this case, the Majid al Futtaim group proposes some facilities such as leisure, entertainment, cinemas, financial services, healthcare, and many more. Some notable projects or properties under this unit are the Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates. There is also a Water Park, Aquaplay and many more.

The leisure and entertainment branch also increases in number with some other large properties. There are Lego stores that launched in 2015, or American girl dolls brand. MAF also owns 318 cinemas across Middle Eastern countries. There is also some restaurant, financial services, and energy company (Veolia).
