Chinese Palace Group

Chinese Palace Group (CPG) has a history closely tied to Dubai’s dining scene. Its story began in 1980 with Chinese Palace Restaurant, described by the group as Dubai’s first Chinese restaurant. From that family business, CPG developed a portfolio spanning Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and wider Asian dining concepts, together with international restaurant partnerships. This evolution gives its career opportunities a broader context than a single restaurant operation. Vacancies can involve restaurants, kitchens, corporate functions, projects, and management across the UAE.

How Chinese Palace Group Has Developed Its UAE Business

CPG states that its portfolio has grown to seven brands and nearly 50 stores. Its portfolio combines quick-service concepts, Asian dining venues and international partnerships.

The History Behind CPG

Chinese Palace Restaurant opened in Dubai in 1980, creating the foundation for the later group. According to CPG, Simon Han took leadership in 2010, followed by further development.

The group’s history also shows how established concepts can evolve. Chinese Palace expanded into quick-service dining, while Han Shi Fu later drew inspiration from the heritage of the original restaurant.
